Sophie Scamps MP, Member for the Federal seat of Mackellar, would like to work with the community to nominate Pittwater to the National Heritage List to protect and conserve the area’s unique heritage values and significance for future generations under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act.
She hopes to work on the nomination with Avalon Preservation Association and other local community groups, historians and conservationists, as well as the broader community through consultation.
